At first i was meh, then baffled at the many forms of “prove your existance” like interent databases. Youtube (watch me!) facebook (“like” something i said or did!) Twitter (woah! something mondainly random d.r.a.t.w.) Tumblr (pretty much just random things of me) and alas Dailybooth (me today, me yesterday, etc.)
Anyway i was like “huh?! did i just technologically stop aging? Did i just hit the point that i cant keep up with what out there and why? Did i just become my parents? … well not mine, my parents at least text and facebook. So far… not yet.
So here’s why i do the things i do. I twitter because random thoughts that can possibly connect me to my already close friends can now be said to them at the freshness of a wifi tweet (until I master telepathy at least). This is then connected to my Facebook where my friends and family can read and “like” should they choose to. Then with You Tube I was planning on become and vlogger of but became an admirer. Dailybooth would be my middle ground. I can’t quite stand hearing and watching myself talk but a picture of me once a day like a spoon full of sugar i can stand and have been probably doing something similar back before Digital cameras were less than $100. Seriously. I really would rather have Tumblr (my eccentric and slightly polished digital me) be my Dailybooth but the instant I put one small picture up on Dailybooth, Five people responded to my audience-less question. Looks like there’s a community here. Also the access the other peoples lives much like the gag-reel / behind the scenes feel has me hooked.
